Michele is a thirteen year old boy who lives in a quiet seaside town. He is neither popular at school nor is he an outstanding student, and he does not excel at sports.

In addition, he would like to draw the attention of Stella, a girl who is completely unaware of his presence. One day, the monotony of his normal life is shattered by an extraordinary discovery… Michele looks in the mirror and finds that he is invisible!

The most incredible adventure of his life is about to begin.

Il film ha per protagonista Michele, un adolescente apparentemente come tanti che vive in una tranquilla città sul mare. Non si può dire che a scuola sia popolare, non brilla nello studio, non eccelle negli sport.

A Michele piacerebbe avere l’attenzione di Stella, la ragazza che in classe non riesce a smettere di guardare. Eppure ha la sensazione che lei proprio non si accorga di lui. Souffre-douleur de ses camarades, Michele (Ludovico Girardello), 13 ans, connaît une adolescence difficile. Il vit à Trieste avec sa mère (Valeria Golino), lieutenant de police, et passe la plupart de son temps sur son téléphone portable à contempler Stella (Noa Zatta), une jeune fille de sa classe, même s’il a le sentiment d’être totalement transparent à ses yeux. Convié à une fête costumée, il n’a pas d’autre choix que de s’y rendre vêtu d’un costume de super-héros chinois acheté dans un bazar. Le lendemain à son réveil il découvre qu’il détient un don incroyable : il est devenu invisible. La vie de Michele change du tout au tout : l’adolescent effacé, perdu, en manque d’identité se transforme en un super-héros intrépide…

Gabriele Salvatores (1950) fonde en 1972 à Milan le Teatro dell’Elfo pour lequel il dirige plusieurs pièces d’avant-garde jusqu’en 1989. Le succès cinématographique arrive avec son troisème long-métrage Marrakech Express (1989), suivi de Turné (1990) puis de Mediterraneo (1991), Oscar du meilleur film étranger. En 2003 il adapte à l’écran le roman de Niccolò Ammaniti Io non ho paura. Il ragazzo invisibile (2014) est sa dernière réalisation. Il prépare actuellement une suite. 

Plot

Un paese quasi perfetto is a comedy about the desire to stay and the desire to change. Pietramezzana is a small town nestled in the Basilicata mountains that is on the verge of disappearing. Young people are leaving, and the few remaining inhabitants are mostly former miners, living with employment insurance, which could soon turn into permanent unemployment.

A handful of inhabitants, led by the galvanic and charming Domenico, refuse to give up. As soon as they get a glimpse into the opening of a possible new factory, the solution to all their problems seems near. They are determined to stay active until the project is successful. The first thing to do is find a doctor, since without a doctor there cannot be a factory. As luck would have it, they bump into Gianluca Terragini, an ambitious cosmetic surgeon from Milan. The second and far more complicated thing they must do is to convince him to stay!

Trama

Un paese quasi perfetto è una commedia sulla voglia di restare e quella di cambiare. Pietramezzana è un piccolo paese sperduto nelle montagne lucane, che rischia di scomparire. I giovani lo stanno abbandonando e i pochi abitanti rimasti, per lo più ex minatori, vivono con una cassa integrazione che minaccia di trasformarsi presto in disoccupazione permanente.

Un paese quasi perfetto est une comédie sur le désir de rester et de changement. Pietra Mezzana est une petite ville perdue dans les montagnes de Lucane (Basilicate) qui est à risque de disparaître. Les jeunes quittent, et les quelques habitants restants sont pour la plupart d’anciens mineurs, vivant avec l’assurance-chômage qui menace de devenir bientôt un chômage permanent.

Les habitants qui sont entraînés par Domenic, un homme actif et plein d’espoir, refusent d’abandonner dès qu’ils obtiennent un aperçu de l’ouverture d’une éventuelle nouvelle usine, devenant la solution à tous leurs problèmes. Ils sont déterminés à rester actif jusqu’à ce que le projet soit un succès. La première chose à faire est de trouver un médecin- sans médecin, il ne peut pas être une usine. La chance est possible quand ils rencontrent Gianluca Terragni, un chirurgien esthétique ambitieux de Milan. La deuxième chose encore plus compliqué qu’ils doivent faire, est de le convaincre à rester!
