Most of the family business takes place at the Forget About It Restaurant, run by Stella. Real Gangsters is a burst of galvanic energy. Frank D’Angelo
Television personality, vocalist, screenwriter and movie director, Frank D’Angelo is a native Torontonian, who was raised in an Italian-Canadian (Sicilian) family. As a performer, he created and hosted the late night talk-variety “The Being Frank Show” on CHCH Television and CityTV Montreal. Real Gangsters is his first foray as a director and screenwriter, a story about real gangsters, featuring some of today’s finest screen actors.
Trama
Real Gangster racconta la storia della famiglia Lo Giacomo, tra le associazioni a delinquere più potenti di New York City, e in particolare dei cugini Lo Giacomo, Vincent e Jack, che guidano le attività illecite familiari. Li circonda un universo di personaggi: gli scagnozzi di Jack, Frankie e Cacciatore, Zio Gaetano, un sopravvissuto della prima generazione di gangster, ‘Big’ Nick Salens, che capeggia la gang di biciclette, il detective Ted Roberts, instancabilmente alle calcagna di Jack.

Come performer, ha dato vita e presentato il varietà televisivo “The Being Frank Show”, trasmesso da CHCH Television e CityTV di Montreal. Real Gangsters è il suo primo esperimento cinematografico come regista e sceneggiare, una storia di gangster girata con alcuni degli attori più popolari del grande schermo.
