Plot
Marcello Santilli dreams of opening a restaurant and becoming a famous chef, but the bank wants its debt repaid, and scratching lottery tickets just won’t do it.
Then, Santilli hears about a town in southern Italy whose entire population is over the age of eighty. Seeing an easy way to solve his problems, Santilli opens a funeral home and waits for the corpses to roll in. The days pass, but not a single old-timer has the decency to croak.
When winter comes,
Santilli catches pneumonia. Now, it’s the old-timers who tend to the undertaker.

Trama
Marcello Santilli è un quarantenne costantemente alla ricerca di una svolta.
Un giorno legge una notizia: in Puglia
c’è un paese abitato da tanti ottant’enni. Santilli ha una folgorazione: aprire un’agenzia di pompe funebri e con i sicuri proventi risolverà in poco tempo i suoi problemi!
Un direttore di banca “amico” gli concede un finanziamento ma solo a fronte di un’ipoteca sulla casa di sua nonna.
