Plot
Milan, 12 December 1969. A huge bomb explosion at piazza Fontana at the Banca Nazionale dell’Agricoltura branch causes the death of 17 and 88 wounded.
Police Commissioner Luigi Calabresi believes that the anarchists were behind the massacre as well as many other similar attacks.
The investigation leads to several suspects and arrests but one night a suspect commits suicide and the Commissioner ends up responsible for the unpleasant incident.
The case unfolds in several Italian cities and a universe of young neo-Nazis organization ready to carry out some sensational actions along with an international weapon traffic is disclosed.
Calabresi was killed in front of his home on 17 May 1972.
Trama
Milano, 12 Dicembre 1969. Alle ore 16.37 in piazza Fontana un’esplosione devasta la Banca Nazionale dell’Agricoltura, ancora piena di clienti.
Muoiono diciassette persone e altre ottantotto rimangono gravemente ferite. Nello stesso momento, scoppiano a Roma altre tre bombe, un altro ordigno viene trovato inesploso a Milano. E’ evidente che si tratta di un piano eversivo. La Questura di Milano è convinta della pista anarchica, ci vorranno molti mesi prima che la verità venga a galla rivelando una cospirazione che lega ambienti neonazisti veneti a settori deviati dei servizi segreti.
La strage di Piazza Fontana inaugura la lunga stagione di attentati e violenze degli anni di piombo.
Nel corso di 33 anni vari processi si susseguono nelle più varie sedi, concludendosi con sentenze che si smentiscono a vicenda. Alla fine tutti risulteranno assolti, la strage di piazza Fontana per la giustizia italiana non ha colpevoli.
