Plot

Every year five hundred thousand young people leave Italy and flee overseas. Among the new emigrants there are a lot of ordinary young people seeking their fortune. Sandro and Luciano are two of them. To start up a new business in Italy is an hopeless dream for young people. Now there’s a place instead where – Sandro and Luciano – believe that everything is possible, Cuba. But they will meet a beautiful, strong, sentimental italian woman, Nora, who is going to change their lives.

He has written scripts for Francesco Nuti, Leonardo Pieraccioni, Massimo Ceccherini, Carlo Verdone, before being a commercial success film maker with Che ne sarà di noi and specially boxoffice winners Manuale d’amore and Manuale d’amore 2. His current partner is actress Valeria Solarino, whom Veronesi directed in Che ne sarà di noi.m

Trama

Oggi molti ragazzi italiani lasciano il Paese natìo e viaggiano, sparpagliati nel mondo, alla ricerca di un luogo dove diventare grandi. Due di loro, Sandro e Luciano, vanno fuori dalle rotte battute dai loro coetanei e approdano a Cuba, all’inseguimento di un’attesa svolta economica. Ma il loro destino è segnato e s’imbattono immediatamente in Nora, una ragazza bella e irriducibile, sentimentale, estrema e italiana pure lei, che cambierà le loro vite. .

Ha scritto sceneggiature per Francesco Nuti, Leonardo Pieraccioni e Massimo Ceccherini, facendo anche qualche cameo nei film che sceneggiava per loro, prima di raggiungere il successo come regista con Che ne sarà di noi, Manuale d’amore, Manuale d’amore 2 – Capitoli successivi, Italians, Genitori & figli – Agitare bene prima dell’uso e Manuale d’amore 3. .
