Plot
Tommaso is a successful, respected surgeon who also happens to be conceited, proud and arrogant – and a staunch atheist. However, Tommaso’s pedestal is set to be removed from beneath him when his only son Andrea brings the family together for an entirely unexpected announcement: he wants to become a priest!
Tommaso refuses to accept this newfound Catholicism, and is further horrified when his wife Carla and daughter Bianca undertake a renaissance-of-sorts themselves. A string of hilarious situations ensues as Tommaso goes undercover to investigate and bring down the charismatic priest Don Pietro who he believes “brain-washed” his son and caused upheaval in his family.
Trama
Tommaso è uno stimato cardiochirurgo, anche se il suo rapporto con il “cuore” si limita alla sala operatoria.
Andrea, suo figlio, è un ragazzo brillante, iscritto a Medicina, pronto a seguire le orme del padre, finchè un giorno raduna la sua famiglia e finalmente si apre: “ho incontrato una persona che ha cambiato la mia vita e quella persona si chiama Gesù. Per questo ho deciso di diventare sacerdote!”
Per Tommaso, ateo convinto, un figlio prete è una colpo terribile. Mentre finge di dargli appoggio totale decide di capirci di più e inizia a seguirlo di nascosto.
Arriva così a Don Pietro, un sacerdote davvero “moderno” e Tommosso sente che è lui il nemico da battere! Ma le cose non vanno mai come pensiamo…
