Plot

The bloody revenge of a young tailor during the peasant revolt of Bronte, Sicily. Salvo, the land keeper, leads the rebels who want to take everything from the former baron, even something they
cannot have: his elegance.

Salvo chooses to spare the life of the baron’s personal tailor in return for a beautiful custom-made jacket. During the tailor’s sewing work, some tragic memories resurface, memories of a man tortured by unknown individuals. This is when the tailor finally reacts and challenges the land keeper’s indiscriminate rage. In an amazing duel between the two, under the bloody and wild Sicilian sun, the tailor pieces together the most tragic events of his life, fuelling his old plan for vengeance.

Plot

Sul finire dell’Ottocento in un piccolo feudo siciliano divampa la rivolta dei contadini, affamati e stanchi di subire continue vessazioni da parte del proprietario terriero.

A dirigere il gruppo di ribelli è Salvo, un campiere deforme che sogna di prendere il posto del padrone, rintracciato mentre si trova dal suo sarto personale Peppino (Filippo Pucillo). Mentre il padrone viene ucciso, Peppino viene lasciato in vita da Salvo, che gli chiede di realizzargli un vestito su misura per simboleggiare il suo nuovo ruolo di potere. Peppino, che non parla da quando da piccolo ha assistito ad un episodio di violenza sul padre per mano dello stesso Salvo, approfitta dell’occasione per portare a termine il suo piano di vendetta personale.
