This is the story of two brothers that are opposite in character and life choices. Massimo is a trendy lawyer and Paolo is a pediatrician, and their wives absolutely despise one another. They meet once a month in a luxury restaurant to honour their weird tradition. They speak of salted anchovies with ricotta and fried vegetables, the most recent French film to come out, the fruity scent of a wine and the latest corrupt politician. But one evening a security camera catches their children doing the unimaginable and their lives are completely turned around. How will the two men and the two opposing families face this tragic event that hits so close to home?

Adriana è una donna di quasi sessant’anni: francese di nascita, vive da molto tempo in Italia, ha una figlia, un nipote e un lavoro da infermiera nell’ospedale della sua città. Un giorno, in corsia, conosce Mohamed, un giovane arabo di trent’anni: tra i due nasce una storia destinata a dare scandalo. Riusciranno Adriana e Mohamed, così profondamente soli prima di incontrarsi, a difendere il loro amore, a farlo sopravvivere al fuoco incrociato del mondo che li circonda?

C’est l’histoire de deux frères, très différents dans leurs caractères et leurs choix de vie. Massimo est un célèbre avocat, Paolo est un pédiatre dédié, leurs femmes se méprisent mutuellement. Ils se rencontrent une fois par mois dans un restaurant de luxe pour honorer une tradition. Ils ne parlent de rien, recettes de cuisine, le dernier film français sorti en salle, l’arôme d’un vin blanc fruité, le politicien corrompu du moment. Mais un soir, une caméra de sécurité attrape leurs fils respectifs faire des bravades inimaginables et l’équilibre des deux familles éclate. Comment ces deux familles si différentes vont elles faire face à cet événement tragique qui les implique de si près?
