Plot
Laura is a Calabrian girl born in Rocca Imperiale who moves to Rome to study. One evening, while celebrating her birthday, she meets a middle-aged man, with whom he has a one-night stand. A few weeks later, she finds out that she is pregnant. The woman leaves in search of the mysterious man with whom he spent the night, but in vain.

Knowing that she is unemployed, her father offers her a job in the family business. The girl accepts and thus learns the meaning of manual labour, befriending various other workers. One of them is an African boy named Karim, with whom she falls in love.

Trama
Laura è una ragazza calabrese originaria di Rocca Imperiale trasferitasi a Roma per studiare. Una sera, mentre festeggia il suo compleanno, incontra un uomo romano di mezza età, con il quale trascorre una notte d’amore. Alcune settimane dopo, Laura scopre di essere incinta. La donna parte alla ricerca dell’uomo misterioso con cui ha trascorso la notte, ma invano.
