He seeks the help of his best friend, Claudio, whom he has known since childhood. One evening, while walking together, Marco tells his friend: “If I could go back in time, I would change all my life.” At that moment, they are run over by a car! The two friends wake up in 1990, a few days before a scheduled meeting between Marco and the woman who will be his future wife. Marco vows to do his best to change the course of events. But can destiny really be stopped?

Carlo Vanzina is a director, screenwriter and producer. In the 80s and 90s, along with his brother, he has directed some of the biggest box office successes, films loved by audiences but often panned by Italian critics. In 1986, along with his brother Enrico, he has founded the production company Video 80.

Marco è sposato con una donna bellissima, ha un figlio e un ottimo lavoro. Tutto sembra perfetto, almeno finché sua moglie, con la quale sta insieme da quasi 25 anni, gli annuncia che ha un altro uomo e vuole la separazione.

Marco è costretto ad andarsene di casa. Chiede aiuto al suo amico di sempre: Claudio, che conosce dai tempi della scuola. E una sera, mentre passeggiano per strada di notte, Marco dice all’amico: “Se potessi tornare indietro cambierei tutta la mia vita!” Proprio in quel momento un’auto li travolge! I due amici si risveglieranno nel 1990, pochi giorni prima del fatidico incontro tra Marco e quella che sarà la sua futura moglie. E allora farà del suo meglio per cambiare il corso degli eventi. Ma si può davvero fermare il destino?
