The Tucci’s are a poor family living in a small village in Lazio. Then the unthinkable happen – the Tucci family wins a lottery of 100 million Euros. They had thought to keep this a secret, but as things go, a secret like this can’t usually be kept, and the head of the family lets it out. Their only solution now is to escape to Milan, before they’re chased by all their so-called friends and acquaintances. In the middle of the night they pack and leave – destination Milan, the city Mrs.Tucci always dreamed about before getting married.

Fausto Brizzi was born in Rome on November 15th 1968. Director and screenwriter. His movie Notte prima degli esami became very popular ( the movie costed 2 million and an half Euro and it cashed 15 million), he also directed the sequel Notte prima degli esami – Oggi in 2007. In 2013 he won the Mario Monicelli prize.

I Tucci sono una famiglia povera di un piccolo paese del Lazio. Un giorno accade qualcosa di completamente inaspettato: i Tucci vincono cento milioni di euro. Sull’onda dell’emozione decidono di mantenere segreta la vincita, ma, come spesso succede in questi casi, una parola di troppo scappa dalla bocca del capofamiglia e ai Tucci rimane soltanto una soluzione, prima di essere perseguitati da sedicenti amici e conoscenti: scappare. Nel bel mezzo della notte fanno le valigie e partono. Destinazione Milano, la città che la signora Tucci sognava da ragazza prima di sposarsi.

Fausto Brizzi
Fausto Brizzi nasce a Roma il 15 novembre 1968. Regista e sceneggiatore. Come regista ha avuto uno strepitoso successo con Notte prima degli esami nel 2006 (costato due milioni e mezzo di Euro, ne ha guadagnati quindici), cui ha fatto seguito Notte prima degli esami – Oggi (2007). Nel 2013 ha vinto il Premio Mario Monicelli.
