People’s Choice Award

Winner: Pierfrancesco Diliberto

Pierfrancesco Diliberto’s (a.k.a. Pif, Italy’s renowned TV host and political comedian) film At War for Love has won the PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD at the 2017 ICFF.

The film stars Pif and Miriam Leone in a tender love story intertwines with the allied conquer of Sicily during WWII, where the US Army had to find partners in the local society.

The ICFF People’s Choice Award is given to the film that wins the most votes from the Festival-going public. People participated by depositing the voted physical ticket in one of the ICFF boxes stationed outside of the cinemas.

This award was presented by ICFF Board of Director President, Paolo Golini at the closing gala.
