Over the past 50 years, Franco Nero has appeared in over 200 movies around the world including Django, Die Hard 2, Django Unchained, and Cars 2. Nero has received 10 acting awards over the course of his career and has been nominated for three more, including one Golden Globe nomination.
His work has also awarded him a star on the Toronto Walk of Fame, a Knighthood for artistic merit awarded by the Italian Republic. Nero has also gained experience working as a director, producer, and writer and has worked with top European directors including Carlo Lizzani and Dariano Damiani.
