ITALIAN CONTEMPORARY FILM FESTIVAL JUNIOR ANNOUNCES JURY AWARD WINNER
Toronto, ON – May 22, 2014 – ELEMENTARY LOVE (orig. title AMORI ELEMENTARI), directed by Sergio Basso, is the winner of the Jury Award at the Italian Contemporary Film Festival [ICFF] Junior. The festival involved 3,000 youth participants from 37 schools who all received training in how to judge film and participated in selecting the winner.
ICFF Junior facilitates students developing their analytical and critical skills.
In recognition of its contribution to the multicultural city of Toronto, ICFF Junior has received an official recognition from the Deputy Mayor Norm Kelly and Members of Toronto City Council for hosting a cultural event that specifically is designed to introduce children to Italian Cinema and that unites people through film.
This 2nd edition of the festival has followed in the footsteps of last year in receiving accolades from students, teachers and others involved.
