Director
Ruth Borgobello is an Italian-Austrilian director, originally from the Friulian region in Northern Italy. This is where she directed and filmed her first feature film, The Space Between, on billboard for the 2017 ICFF. Borgobello’s film tells the tail of love and loss, taking place admits the breathtaking views of the Friulian region. The Space Between represents the first ever co-production between Italy and Australia.
The story revolves around Marco – played by actor Flavio Parenti – a 35-year-old ex chef that abbandoned his career along with all furture goals and returned to Udine to take care of his ill father. Ms. Borgobello is married to film producer Davide Giusto, who is also from the Friulian region.
